Frontlines: Fuel Of War – Installation:
1) Extract the rar's with WinRar, 7-Zip or WinAce.
_____If you get "CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt"! error, use repair command:
_____Open Winrar from the Start Menu. Navigate to and select the damaged file. Click "Repair" on the toolbar
2) Mount or Burn the iso (both DVD's required for installation).
_____Mount: use the included Microsoft Virtual ROM tool,
___________or whatever you prefer. Then, find the new drive in "My Computer"
_____or
_____Burn: burning software has the option to "Burn from Image".
__________"vty-163a.iso" is the image.
__________You'll need a Dual-Layer DVD burner and software like Nero,
__________plus a blank Dual-Layer DVD and a Regular blank DVD.
_____Mounting is faster, cheaper, and easier, but requires HDD space
_____Burning to Disk costs more and is slow, but gives a Hard Copy
3) Install game (serial key provided), do not crack yet†
4) Patch up to v1.1.1 then backup the updated game .exe for future patching
5) Copy ViTALiTY v1.1.1 crack over installed file in the folder:
___C:\Program Files\THQ\Frontlines-Fuel of War\Binaries
6) Let None Survive!

†Backup the FFOW.exe after patching but before cracking, so you can update to the next patch, if one materializes. You can't patch a cracked game file
When starting the game, you will get a notification about an Update available. No worries, all it will do is bring up their website. Just click "No".



Frontlines: Fuel Of War – Minimum System Requirements:.
• OS........................: Microsoft® Windows® XP (32/64) or Vista (32/64).
• CPU......................: Intel Pentium® 2.8HT or AMD Athlon™ 2800+.
• RAM.....................: 768MB RAM for XP, 1GB RAM for Vista.
• Graphics..............: nVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800GT (SM3) or ATI® Radeon® X800XT (SM2) w/ latest applicable video drivers
• DirectX................: DirectX® 9.0c required.
• .Net......................: .Net Framework 1.1 or greater.
• Sound..................: 100% DirectX® 9.0c compatible sound card and drivers: AC ’97 or equivalent.
• HDD.....................: 15GB free HDD Space.

Inverted Mouse fix:
The "Invert mouse" funtion did not seem to work in v1.0
I was able to modify the DefaultInput.ini to invert the mouse
look in C:\Program Files\THQ\Frontlines-Fuel of War\GCGame\Config
1) right-click DefaultInput.ini and select Properties, clear the "Read only" checkbox, and click "OK"
2) open the file (w/ notepad or wordpad) and click "Edit", then select "Find", type invertmouse
3) set everything with "InvertMouse" to True.
4) save the changes and reboot
I made this modification before applying the patch and crack, so i don't know if that's what fixed it, or maybe the patch did it.

Vista x64 Users
