FF7 For PSP

For 4.01M33-2,3.90M33-3 or 3.80M33-5.See below this guide for 5.00M33-3

The new custom firmwares from 3.80M33 can't play FFVll or if they can, not very well. So instead of downgrading our PSP's to a lower firmware like 3.10 to play it we can still play it on the latest firmware but we can use a different Popsloader to play it and still be able to play PSP games from the memory stick. The 3.10 popsloader plays FFVll quite well so we'll be using the 3.10 popsloader.

I have created a 3.80M33-5 (this also works on 3.90M33 and 4.01M33-2) popsloader folder with the 3.10 popsloader in so you just need to download it,extract it and copy the "seplugins" folder to the root of your memory stick.

You now just need to enable it.To do this just power off your PSP (hold the power off until it turns off).Then turn it on while holding the "R" button.You should now be in the recovery menu.Go in the "Plugins" menu and enable the "popsloader.prx."
Now exit recovery mode.

Now your PSP is now capable of playing FFVll.

Do not delete the seplugins folder otherwise it will freeze when you choose 3.10.

How to get Final Fantasy 7 to work

1. Select all parts and extract them and type in the password.

2. Open up the FF7 folder. Here there is 3 folders - FF7 Disk 1,FF7 Disk 2 and FF7 Disk 3. Copy the FF7 Disk 1 folder to PSP/Game.

3.Now disconnect your PSP from your PC, go to Game/Memory Stick,look for a Custom PSX icon (this is FFVll) and press x to play it.

4. You will then be asked which popsloader to use. If not then hold the R trigger when you load the game. You have a list from something like 3.02 to 3.71.Just choose 3.10 and it should run perfect.

Please note that to change from disk 1 to disk 2 just copy the FF7 Disk 2 folder to your PSP/Game (and if you copy it to another memory card you wont be able to use your saved game unless you copy the saved game file to the other memory card)

For 5.00M33-3 you should follow this guide instead

The previous method won't work as we cant use popsloaders that are lower than 3.40 or something like that unfortunately so we're going to use the 3.71 popsloader instead.

I have created a 5.00M33-3 popsloader folder with the 3.71 popsloader in aswell so you just need to download it and extract the "seplugins" folder to the root of your memory stick.
